Lewandowski: Bannon would not converse for Trump

Corey Lewandowski stated that Steve Bannon doesn’t converse for President-elect Trump when reacting to the previous strategist’s current remarks concerning the federal authorities.

Lewandowski’s response got here after host Dan Abrams requested him about Bannon’s feedback on Wednesday after Trump gained the U.S. presidential election towards Vice President Harris. Bannon went after federal businesses and MSNBC, saying they tried to “destroy this country.”

“You stole the 2020 election,” Bannon stated on Wednesday. “You’ve mocked and ridiculed and put people in prison and broken people’s lives because you said this thing was stolen. This entire phony thing is getting swept out. Biden’s getting swept out. Kamala Harris is getting swept out.”

“MSNBC is getting swept out,” he added. “The Justice Department [DOJ] is getting swept out. The FBI is getting swept out. You people suck, okay? And now you’re going to pay the price for trying to destroy this country.”

Lewandowski stated on Wednesday that he is aware of and respects Bannon, “but he doesn’t speak for this administration; he doesn’t speak for President Trump.”

“Listen, there’s going to be a lot of hyperbole out there; there’s going to be a lot of people saying they know Donald Trump or speak for him,” he stated. “Unless you hear it from Donald Trump, you don’t have to listen to what these other people say.”

Bannon, an ex-White Home chief strategist for Trump, was launched from jail every week earlier than Election Day. He served a four-month sentence after refusing to adjust to a congressional subpoena linked to the Jan. 6, 2021, assault on the U.S. Capitol.
