OAKLAND — Former Fremont Metropolis Councilwoman Jenny Kassan, after not too long ago resigning from her political place, obtained a promotion from Alameda County District Lawyer Pamela Worth this week.

“We are excited to see Jenny accept the role as the new leader for the Community Support Bureau,” Worth stated in an announcement. “She brings a wealth of talent, experience and a vision to expand our office’s engagement with community groups and residents, that will level-up our outreach programs and partnerships with local organizations with the aim of promoting crime prevention.”

Kassan joined the DA’s workplace in Might 2023 and as a prosecutor has labored on circumstances involving actual property fraud, human trafficking, the setting and unlawful dumping.
