Investigation opened after man experiences being sexually assaulted in Palo Alto Baylands

PALO ALTO – An investigation is underway into the theft and sexual assault of a person within the Palo Alto Baylands.

Officers searched the world however didn’t discover the suspect.

The sufferer advised officers he had been driving his e-bicycle on the Adobe Creek Loop Path simply south of the Compass Street space of Byxbee Park when he stopped to make a telephone name. That’s when one other man tackled him from behind and started looking his pockets.

The suspect then eliminated the sufferer’s pants and sexually assaulted him, police stated.

Afterward, the suspect rode away on the sufferer’s e-bicycle, additionally taking his pockets and pants, police stated.

The sufferer advised officers the suspect was in his early 20s. He was final seen sporting a black sweatshirt and white shorts.

No comparable crimes have occurred within the metropolis lately, police stated, including that detectives are looking for witnesses who have been on the path Monday morning and will have seen one thing.
