The Nationwide Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the Home GOP’s marketing campaign arm, lagged its Democratic counterparts in August fundraising by over $12 million, based on new studies.

The Democratic Congressional Marketing campaign Committee (DCCC) raised $22.3 million in August, based on a Federal Election Fee (FEC) submitting. The committee spent practically $27 million final month and was left with little over $87 million money available.

The NRCC’s August was not as fruitful. The committee introduced in $9.7 million, based on a Friday FEC report. The Home Republican marketing campaign arm spent $12.3 million and was left with $70.7 million money available.

The August numbers characterize one other robust fundraising month for the DCCC. The committee outraised the NRCC in July, the month when President Biden determined that he would not run for one more time period.  The DCCC raised $17.6 in July, practically $6 million greater than NRCC’s $11.7 million haul.

The DCCC stated on Friday it, thus far, has raked in $250.6 million this marketing campaign cycle, stating it set a brand new document for “presidential cycle-to-date fundraising.”

“There is incredible enthusiasm for Democrats across the country right now, and thanks to the work of Leader Jeffries and the entire House Democratic caucus we continue to have the resources we need to harness that energy, go on offense, and to take back the House,” Chair Suzan DelBene (D-Wash.) stated in a assertion.

The final time the NRCC outperformed the Democrats’ marketing campaign arm in fundraising was in Might. Then, the GOP committee introduced in $12.6 million, whereas the DCCC raised $11.9 million that month. It was the primary month in 2024 that the NRCC beat the DCCC in fundraising numbers.

An NRCC spokesperson pointed The Hill to the Home GOP marketing campaign arm’s fundraising standing at this level within the earlier presidential cycle, when it trailed the DCCC by practically twice as a lot cash, but famous Republicans nonetheless recaptured the bulk within the decrease chamber.
