HAYWARD – The Hayward Police Division on Wednesday launched footage of a shootout between officers and an armed man final month in a shopping mall parking zone.

The incident occurred Oct. 8 within the 29000 block of Mission Boulevard, close to Industrial Parkway, police mentioned. Nobody was hit by the gunfire, however the suspect suffered a minor damage to his thumb.
