HAYWARD — A neighborhood resident was arrested and charged with drug and gun possession after a police officer seen a video on the suspect’s Instagram account of a person capturing a gun within the space.
The 29-year-old Hayward resident was charged with three counts of alleged drug dealing and 4 counts of possessing a machine gun. He was launched from jail on the situation he not possess weapons and obey all legal guidelines, in line with court docket information.
Police started investigating the person in mid-September, when an officer seen a video on an Instagram story of a person firing a gun within the space. The gun seemed to be a Glock pistol, modified to shoot absolutely computerized, authorities stated. When police recognized the person because the Instagram account holder, they raided his house on Veronica Avenue.
Authorities say that through the raid, police seized greater than 800 Xanax tablets, greater than an oz of cocaine, about 4 grams of MDMA, a 3D printer, and gear used to make pistols absolutely computerized. The person reportedly advised police modifying pistols was “fun” and he didn’t comprehend it was towards the regulation.
