Greater than 1 million voters solid early ballots in North Carolina

Practically 1.01 million North Carolinians have already voted within the November normal election, state officers reported Sunday. 

The North Carolina State Election Board mentioned 1,008,123 ballots have already been solid within the 2024 election, together with 916,433 ballots solid through in-person early voting, 77,831 ballots through civilian absentee voting, and almost 14,000 solid through navy or abroad absentee voting.

The turnout represents about 13 % of North Carolina’s 7.8 million registered voters, in response to the board. 

“My sincerest thanks goes out to the county boards of elections and the thousands of election workers around the state who are making this happen,” Karen Brinson Bell, govt director of the state election board, mentioned in a press release. “It has been an incredibly busy few days.
