Palestinians in Gaza had been struggling to get better on Tuesday after days of torrential rain battered the enclave, flooding displacement camps, turning filth roads into mud, and inflicting already war-damaged buildings to break down, leaving not less than 12 individuals useless, together with a two-week-old child. Greater than 150 millimeters of rain fell in some areas over the previous week, inundating tents sheltering displaced households. Arwa Damon, founding father of the Worldwide Community for Support, Aid and Help, emphasizes that the rains, mixed with sewage, are inflicting a rare rise in illnesses throughout Gaza, significantly diarrhea amongst kids, which will be deadly if not handled.
