SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Nev. (AP) — Former San Jose Sharks standout Joe Pavelski birdied the ultimate three holes Saturday for a share of the second-round lead with former soccer participant Taylor Twellman within the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe.
Pavelski, the first-round chief who completed second final 12 months behind former tennis participant Mardy Fish, had a 21-point day within the modified Stableford scoring system to match Twellman at 44. Twellman had a 23-point spherical.

“Obviously, Twellman has been playing great,” Pavelski mentioned. “To finish birdie, birdie, birdie and be tied with him, I’ll take that all day.”
Warriors celebrity Stephen Curry, the 2023 champion, had a 14-point spherical to hitch Fish (18) at 35.
Nation star Jake Owen was third at 41 after a 25-point spherical, and Carolina Panthers receiver Adam Thielen was one other level again following a 21-point day. Former LPGA Tour star Annika Sorenstam scored 20 factors to achieve 37.

Three-time champions Tony Romo (18) and ex-A’s star Mark Mulder (21) had been at 36 with John Smoltz (19).
Former MLB star Jimmy Rollins, from Alameda’s Encinal Excessive, had a hole-in-one on the 154-yard, par-3 twelfth. He received a $325,000 Mastercraft boat.
Charles Barkley misplaced 16 factors to drop from a tie for twenty fourth to a tie for 61st within the 90-player discipline. He had minus-7 factors total.
