Teal Run

Runners within the eleventh annual Teal Run 5K and 10K will cross the beginning line Sunday, Sept. 28, at 8:30 a.m. at Campbell Park. The fundraiser for ovarian most cancers analysis and assist has beforehand raised greater than $500,000.

The 5K and 10K programs loop across the Los Gatos Creek Path, ending simply after the Campbell Bridge. The course is paved and principally flat, with light inclines,  and so is suitable for each starting and skilled runners. The highest three finishers in every race will obtain awards.

Pre-registration race entry charges are $50 for adults and teenagers and $30 for youngsters at https://www.thetealrun.org. Race day registration begins at 7:30 a.m.

Peninsula Symphony live performance

Peninsula Symphony opens its 77th season Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at Campbell’s Heritage Theatre with a program that includes flutist Demarre McGill and carried out by Lara Webber.

This system consists of Jacques Ibert’s Flute Concerto, Prokofiev’s “Lieutenant Kijé” Suite, Tchaikovsky’s “Francesca da Rimini,” “Breathe” by Carlos Simon and  “Poem” by Charles Tomlinson Griffes.

Tickets are $35-$50 at https://peninsulasymphony.my.salesforce-sites.com/ticket or 408-866-2700. Youngsters and college students are admitted free.

Pour for Paws

The Pals of Silicon Valley Animal Management Authority are internet hosting a Pour for Paws fundraiser on Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at Villa Ragusa in downtown Campbell. Attendees can bid in silent and dwell auctions and take a look at their luck on the wine pull.

Proceeds will go to assist the authority’s applications, present volunteers with provides and socialize and transport animals. Tickets are $155 at https://www.SVACA.COM/RSVP.
