El Cerrito police make arrest in sexual battery of sight and listening to impaired girl

EL CERRITO – A 28-year-old Richmond man was arrested Tuesday in reference to the alleged sexual battery of a listening to and sight impaired girl final month in El Cerrito, police mentioned.

The incident occurred round 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 13. Police mentioned the suspect adopted the sufferer to a residential space on Stockton Avenue close to Elm Avenue and slapped her backside.

After investigators tracked down video surveillance footage and launched a picture of the suspect, a number of individuals recognized him as Martinez Ortigoza, based on police.

A warrant was then issued for his arrest on a cost of felony sexual battery of a significantly disabled individual.
