East Bay taking pictures sufferer airlifted to hospital after taking pictures

EL CERRITO — A taking pictures Tuesday morning critically injured an individual, authorities stated.

Officers additionally detained an individual who they recognized because the shooter, police stated in a press release. They didn’t announce an arrest.

Callers reported the taking pictures about 10:30 a.m. within the 1800 block of Elm Avenue. Officers arrived to seek out the individual down. Police stated the individual they detained additionally was there.

A medical helicopter airlifted the taking pictures sufferer to a trauma middle. Authorities didn’t have an instantaneous replace on the individual’s situation.

Police stated they have been investigating the motive for the taking pictures and different circumstances surrounding it.

Authorities locked down the Summit K2 Public Faculties instantly after the taking pictures, then lifted it after they secured the scene.
