East Bay prosecutors accuse husband of attempting to kill spouse whereas she held their child

CASTRO VALLEY — A 34-year-old man is going through tried homicide expenses for allegedly stabbing his spouse whereas she held their child final week in Castro Valley, in line with prosecutors.

Guillermo Renderos has additionally been charged with corporal damage to a partner, youngster endangerment, kidnapping and enhancements to be used of a lethal weapon and nice bodily damage, the Alameda County District Legal professional’s Workplace mentioned in a press release Thursday.

A prison criticism alleges Renderos compelled his spouse and child into his truck on Oct. 17, pulled them out and started to beat his spouse whereas she held their child, in line with prosecutors.

At one level, Renderos pulled out a “sharp object” and used it to stab his spouse a number of instances, the district legal professional’s workplace mentioned.

If convicted of the fees, Renderos faces 14 years and 5 months to life in jail.

Renderos stays in custody on the Santa Rita Jail on $800,000 bail. His pre-trial listening to is scheduled to happen Nov. 12 on the Wiley W. Manuel Courthouse in Oakland.
