A suspect accused of defrauding a Greenbrae resident is now dealing with a federal case along with a neighborhood one.

Qingyun Chen, 30, of San Leandro was arrested final month on allegations she stole greater than $50,000 from a 79-year-old lady by an web rip-off. The Marin County District Lawyer’s Workplace charged her with grand theft and theft from an aged grownup.

Since then, federal authorities have charged Chen with conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
