Dunkin’ to cease charging clients further for non-dairy milk options

Dunkin’ will now not be charging coffee-drinking clients further for requesting a non-dairy milk different of their cup of joe.

Starting March 5, clients will not need to pay $0.50 or extra so as to add soy, oat, almond or coconut milk to their coffees, a Dunkin’ spokesperson confirmed to Fox Enterprise on Thursday.

“Dairy alternatives will be standard options for Dunkin’ beverages at no additional cost to guests,” Dunkin’ mentioned.

The favored espresso and donut firm mentioned the choice was “guided by guest feedback” and would be the customary in any respect Dunkin’ areas after March 5.

“This enhances Dunkin’s ability to offer guests a wide range of beverage customizations to enjoy quality Dunkin’ beverages – their way – at a great value,” the corporate mentioned.

CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT ACCUSES DUNKIN’ OF DISCRIMINATION FOR CHARGING EXTRA FOR NON-DAIRY MILK ALTERNATIVES 

The choice comes slightly over a 12 months after Dunkin’ was sued by a bunch of plaintiffs claiming it was discriminatory to cost clients who are suffering from lactose intolerance and milk allergic reactions further for non-dairy options.

The courtroom sided with Dunkin’ and dismissed the lawsuit in Might 2024.
