Driver hits, kills pedestrian in Morgan Hill

MORGAN HILL — A driver hit and killed a pedestrian Wednesday evening in Morgan Hill, authorities stated.

The site visitors collision was reported shortly earlier than 10:30 p.m. close to the intersection of Cochrane Street and Madrone Parkway, in line with the Morgan Hill Police Division. Officers arrived to discover a man within the eastbound lanes of Cochrane Street.

Police stated the person died of his accidents on the scene. The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Workplace will launch his identification after it’s confirmed and his subsequent of kin is notified.

The motive force stopped on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation, in line with police.

Alcohol and drug impairment didn’t seem to play a job within the collision, police stated.
