SAN FRANCISCO — The state’s Clear Air Automobile decal program ends subsequent week, however tickets gained’t instantly be handed out to solo electrical automobile drivers who proceed to make use of carpool lanes.

The California Freeway Patrol is giving drivers two months to alter their habits, in line with Sgt. Andrew Barclay.

“Driving solo is still a violation,” Barclay stated. “It’s just our current policy to not cite until Dec. 1.”
