A California lawmaker has proposed laws, named after two Riverside County little one rape victims, that might disqualify convicted killers and violent intercourse offenders from a program that enables for the early launch of growing old prisoners who’ve served prolonged sentences.

“I introduced this bill with district attorneys from across the state because people convicted of rape, child molestation, or other violent crimes should never be eligible for early release just because they’ve turned 50. That’s not justice — it’s retraumatizing survivors,” Nguyen stated in a press release Friday.

The Riverside County District Legal professional’s Workplace is co-sponsoring Nguyen’s invoice.
