SPOKANE, Wash. — Tyeree Bryan made seven 3-pointers and scored a career-high 35 factors to assist upstart Santa Clara upset No. 16 Gonzaga 103-99 on Saturday evening.

Adama Ball added 20 factors, and Christoph Tilly had 17 for the Broncos (13-7, 5-2 West Coast Convention).

Coming off an additional time loss Thursday evening at Oregon State, Gonzaga (14-6, 5-2) has misplaced consecutive convention video games for the primary time because the 2013-14 season.

Nolan Hickman led Gonzaga with 24 factors, hitting six 3-pointers. Graham Ike scored 21 factors, and Ryan Nembhard had 16 factors and 15 assists.

The Broncos pulled forward with an 11-1 run late within the half. Nonetheless, Hickman responded with seven factors within the closing 5 minutes to provide Gonzaga a 45-44 lead.

An early second-half surge propelled Santa Clara in entrance, with Bryan and Bal combining to hit 5 3-pointers within the first seven minutes. The photographs saved falling for the Broncos, who had been forward by 13 factors with simply over 4 minutes to play.

Takeaways

Santa Clara: After scoring 54 factors in a loss to Loyola Marymount, the Broncos put up 103 factors to beat the Bulldogs.

Gonzaga: The Bulldogs misplaced for the primary time this season on the McCarthey Athletic Middle.
