SAN JOSE — A bomb risk prompted officers to evacuate the Santa Clara County Registrar of Voters Workplace in San Jose on Saturday morning, NBC Bay Space reported.
The bomb risk was “communicated to” the registrar’s important facility on Berger Drive in North San Jose about 8 a.m. Saturday, resulting in the evacuation of the constructing. Vote counting was suspended till the constructing could be cleared, in line with the report.
Officers with the Santa Clara Sheriff’s Workplace in addition to San Jose police, fireplace, bomb squad and hazmat groups responded to the incident.
The Sheriff’s Workplace didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark. The San Jose Police Division didn’t present remark provided that the incident is below Sheriff’s Workplace jurisdiction.
