FRESNO – A 55-year-old San Francisco man is again in custody almost eight years after escaping from a high-security federal jail in Merced County, based on authorities.
If convicted of the cost, Pree faces as much as 5 years in jail and a $250,000 advantageous.
Pree was convicted in 2012 of wire fraud and aggravated id theft costs. He was sentenced to almost 8½ years in jail and transferred to U.S. Penitentiary Atwater.
On Jan. 29, 2017, Pree was found lacking from the jail.
“Pree did not have permission to leave the Atwater facility and remained at large until his arrest,” prosecutors mentioned.
On the time of his arrest, Pree allegedly had a number of cellphones, ID playing cards, debit and bank cards in several individuals’s names, a number of drivers’ licenses and a pretend Harvard College ID.
