Los Altos baseball participant Darrion Wesley is the Bay Space Information Group boys athlete of the week for April 21-26.

In on-line voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Wesley had 30.10% of the vote to complete forward of De La Salle baseball participant Roman Bartosh, who was second at 28.50%.

Congratulations to all of the candidates for this week’s recognition.

Wesley’s two-run single within the prime of the fifth inning helped elevate Los Altos to a 4-3 victory on the highway over Bellarmine in non-league play.
