BART prepare service between Walnut Creek, Harmony to be cancelled for a weekend

The primary official weekend of summer season will come with out BART prepare service for some who catch their trains north of Walnut Creek.

Busses would be the solely means between the Harmony and Walnut Creek stations on Saturday and Sunday morning whereas employees change decades-old observe parts, the company mentioned. All prepare service between Harmony and Walnut Creek can be halted to make the situations secure for the employees.

The challenge additionally will deliver the cancellation of some late-night and early morning trains, and riders within the space can anticipate delays of 20 to half-hour. The final southbound trains departing Antioch at 11:42 p.m. and Pittsburg/Bay Level at 12:10 a.m. each can be cancelled on Saturday and Sunday. They as an alternative will depart at 11:23 p.m. and 11:44, respectively.

On Saturday, BART will run its first southbound Yellow Line trains on the system beginning at 5:43 a.m. from the Walnut Creek station. Trains are also scheduled to depart Walnut Creek at 6:03 and 6:23. On Sunday, southbound trains will start at 7:43 a.m. from the Walnut Creek station and depart each 20 minutes.

Buses can be out there on the Harmony station on Saturday starting at 5:23 a.m. and on the Nice Hill station starting at 5:30 a.m. The busses will depart these stations each 20 minutes and can drop off passengers on the Walnut Creek station. On Sunday, the busses depart Harmony beginning at 7:23 a.m. and Nice Hill at 7:30 a.m.
