Authorities ID Los Gatos motorcyclist killed in crash

SANTA CRUZ —The Santa Cruz County Sheriff-Coroner’s Workplace has recognized the Los Gatos motorcyclist killed in a Dec. 18 crash on Soquel San Jose Highway.

Craig Smith, 68, was touring southbound round 9:40 a.m. when the BMW motorbike he was driving hit the asphalt and slid into an oncoming Subaru Forester.

Regardless of lifesaving efforts, Smith was declared lifeless on the scene.

The California Freeway Patrol continued to analyze the crash Monday and had no further particulars to share associated to trigger, in response to Officer Israel Murillo.
