Protestors took to the streets Wednesday night in San Jose and Berkeley, in a public outcry aimed toward each main political events in the future after the reelection of President-elect Donald Trump to the White Home in an election with margins that shocked many pundits.

Round 100 protestors gathered in San Jose close to the intersection of South King Highway and Story Highway, whereas about twenty protestors and counter-protestors gathered on the steps of Sproul Corridor at UC Berkeley.

As vote counts started to roll in Tuesday night time, folks throughout the Bay Space attended watch events and expressed pleasure and sorrow for the outcomes of nationwide and native races. Trump’s victory was referred to as early Wednesday morning, prompting folks throughout the Bay Space to rapidly arrange gatherings in protest of the previous president re-election.

Because the protest started, 4 protestors tried to steer chants of “No Trump, no KKK, no fascist USA” and “Deportations? Hell no, Donald Trump has got to go” whereas about 50 onlookers watched.

The peaceable demonstration was met with a small counter protest of 4 males holding indicators studying “Your rights are fine” and “Trump won, go home.”

“It’s really important for people to know that Berkeley is not just some left wing lunacy place,” stated counter-protestor Martin Bertao, president of the Berkeley Faculty Republicans. “There are people here with common sense.”

Two ladies not related to the organizers joined the demonstration, with one, Gianna Zamora, committing to stay till the pro-Trump demonstrators left.

“I’m here and I’m not going away,” stated Zamora, a first 12 months UC Berkeley pupil who famous she’s protesting as a Japanese and Mexican American lady.
