GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK, Ariz. – A historic lodge on the Grand Canyon’s North Rim has been destroyed by a fast-moving wildfire, the park stated Sunday.

The Grand Canyon Lodge, the one lodging contained in the park on the North Rim, was consumed by the flames, park Superintendent Ed Keeble advised park residents, workers and others in a gathering Sunday morning. He stated the customer middle, the fuel station, a waste water remedy plant, an administrative constructing and a few worker housing additionally had been misplaced.
