Alameda County drive-by taking pictures suspect charged with tried homicide

NEWARK – A 19-year-old Newark man is dealing with tried homicide prices in reference to a collection of drive-by shootings in Alameda County, in accordance with authorities.

An individual was injured within the Noel Drive taking pictures however has since recovered, police stated.

Police stated a fourth drive-by taking pictures occurred Feb. 24 on Spruce Road in Newark. Nobody was injured, however a residence and several other automobiles had been broken by gunfire.

Medina was arrested April 1 in Oakland. Police stated detectives submitted the case to prosecutors, who charged Medina with two counts of tried homicide, two counts of taking pictures at an inhabited dwelling and committing a felony whereas out on bail.
