Hayward motorcyclists killed in crash with Tesla pushed by San Jose lady

SARATOGA — A person and lady from Hayward, using a bike within the Santa Cruz mountains west of Saratoga, had been killed Saturday when their Harley Davidson crashed head-on with a Tesla sedan, pushed by an 18-year-old lady from San Jose, the California Freeway Patrol reported.

The crash occurred about 4:45 p.m. Saturday on winding, mountainous State Route 9, close to the place it intersects with Skyline Boulevard, also referred to as State Route 35.
