OAKLAND — Kaiser Permanante’s North Oakland campus close to MacArthur Boulevard and Broadway was on lockdown Thursday afternoon as police surrounded a medical constructing and parking storage.
Kaiser staff stated that the lockdown lasted 45 minutes, between roughly 2:45 p.m. and three:30 p.m. The medical buildings are once more working usually.
Officers have been concentrated across the Oakland Medical Workplace Constructing’s parking storage, in line with a Kaiser spokesperson. The parking storage was again open to the general public as of three:30 p.m.
Authorities haven’t launched particulars about why officers have been within the space.
