Forgery: A finance officer for Prospect Excessive College on Prospect Highway reported that somebody obtained digital checks for one of many faculty’s monetary accounts, then electronically altered and handed the checks for funds to varied individuals and entities, for a complete lack of about $30,906. The account was frozen, and the financial institution is working to reimburse the varsity.
Shoplifting: At 11:24 p.m., deputies responded to a theft name at Safeway within the Argonaut Middle on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Highway. An investigation revealed the suspect stole merchandise valued at roughly $358. The suspect was cited and launched.
