Audiences at TheatreWorks Silicon Valley’s twenty second annual New Works Competition will be capable to view the evolution of seven performs and musicals, as playwrights and composers revise and refine their exhibits throughout the competition.
Set for July 25-Aug. 17 at Lucie Stern Theatre in Palo Alto, the 2025 competition contains readings of “Old Cock” by Pulitzer- and Tony-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, directed and carried out by Jorge Andrade, creative director of Portugal’s mala voadora theater firm. Andrade and mala voadora’s “Motion/Capture” will obtain a one-night-only studying on July 28.
Competition passes are $90, single tickets are $40 for “Old Cock” and $25 for different readings and occasions and tickets to the kickoff occasion reception and presentation are $99 at theatreworks.org or 877- 662-8978.
