A “rapid” nationwide investigation into NHS maternity companies has been launched by the federal government.

The announcement comes after Well being Secretary Wes Streeting met households who’ve misplaced infants and amid the continued investigations at some NHS trusts into maternity care failings.

The investigation will encompass two components.
