Three youths arrested in reference to Livermore housebreaking spree

LIVERMORE — Three Livermore youths — ages 12, 14 and 15 — have been arrested in reference to almost 50 car burglaries within the metropolis, police stated.

The burglaries occurred between Might 5 and June 3, based on the Livermore Police Division.

The suspects smashed home windows to steal objects corresponding to USB drives, sun shades and wallets, police stated.

Police used surveillance footage to assist determine the suspects. Warrants had been then served at their houses, the place among the stolen property was recovered, based on police.

Officers arrested the youths on June 10. All three had been cited and launched to their dad and mom, police stated, including that Alameda County Juvenile Corridor wouldn’t take them because of the nonviolent nature of the alleged offenses.

The case has since been referred to prosecutors for evaluation and fees, based on police.

Police are investigating whether or not the group is chargeable for extra burglaries and car thefts within the metropolis previous to Might 5.
