A South Carolina man was sentenced to 34 years in California state jail earlier this week after pleading responsible to a number of prices associated to sexual exploitation of two ladies, Sonoma County prosecutors mentioned.

Jordan Evans-Ramirez, 20, on Tuesday admitted to a number of felony prices — together with little one sexual assault, possession of kid pornography, and human trafficking of a minor — involving two 13-year-old ladies, the Sonoma County District Lawyer’s Workplace mentioned in an announcement.

Evans-Ramirez’s case started in early 2024, when Santa Rosa police launched an investigation into experiences of his on-line exploitation of a minor. A second sufferer was recognized through the evaluate of his social media exercise towards the tip of the 12 months, prosecutors mentioned.

In line with the District Lawyer’s Workplace, Evans-Ramirez used his social media platforms to coerce and manipulate his victims, together with by threatening to share non-public pictures. He additionally provided cash and different incentives to solicit inappropriate contact.

“I cannot imagine the psychological and physical toll that these two young girls suffered. Their bravery in coming forward brought a dangerous individual to justice and will undoubtedly prevent future harm to others,” District Lawyer Carla Rodriguez mentioned in an announcement Thursday.
