La Loulou had its grand opening Might 10 at 4250 Piedmont Ave. in a nook spot previously occupied by a vacant real-estate workplace. The vibrantly coloured bistro gives wines to take residence or to get pleasure from at svelte banquettes and tables, plus a collection of Parisian-inspired snacks.

“I am focusing on French wines from all regions, but mostly Loire, Bourgogne, Champagne, Languedoc and Bordeaux,” says proprietor Lou Beraud. “We have available a raclette sandwich, homemade asparagus quiche, a cheese-and-charcuterie board as well as macarons for dessert.”
