San Jose: Police arrest two, seize 22 kilos of meth, cocaine, K in money

San Jose cops arrested two males on Saturday, seizing 22 kilos of meth and cocaine and $25,000 in money within the course of.

“A long-term investigation by Metro Team 2 led to the takedown of narcotics traffickers with help from our MERGE Unit,” San Jose Police Division Assistant Police Chief Brian Shab wrote in a social media submit.

The Cellular Emergency Response Group and Gear, or MERGE Unit, is how the division refers to its “SWAT” crew.

The division served search warrants at three San Jose houses as a part of the investigation. The names of the arrested suspects haven’t been launched at the moment.

“Outstanding work by all involved,” Schab mentioned.
