Contra Costa Well being mentioned it has requested the Martinez Refining Firm to submit a 72-hour report.

The hearth is the second on the facility since Feb. 1. Contra Costa Well being issued a Stage 3 alert in response to the incident. Half a dozen staff had been additionally evaluated by medical personnel and launched.

On Thursday, the Martinez Refining Firm plans to restart a number of the refinery course of items that weren’t concerned in final month’s fireplace. The hassle is predicted to take roughly two weeks and will end in intermittent flaring, in keeping with the corporate.
