Replace: Excessive surf advisory issued for Bay Space Shorelines till Monday night time – waves as much as 20 ft potential

Coastal North Bay together with Level Reyes Nationwide Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast and Southern Monterey Bay and Massive Sur Coast in addition to San Francisco County had been positioned beneath an up to date excessive surf advisory by the Nationwide Climate Service on Sunday at 4:27 a.m. The advisory is in impact till Monday, Mar. 3 at 9 p.m.

The NWS San Francisco CA says to be prepared for, “A long period westerly swell will result in an increased risk of sneaker waves and rip currents with breaking waves up to 20 feet.”

“Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and localized beach erosion,” the NWS stated. “Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to dangerous surf conditions.”
