Whereas serving a search warrant Wednesday in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County sheriff’s deputies mentioned they discovered 7 grams of fentanyl in a room with a 2-year-old youngster inside.

Deputies served warrants Wednesday night time and Thursday morning at two properties allegedly related to fentanyl distribution.

The primary warrant was served at a home within the 3000 block of Shadowhill Drive in Santa Rosa. Talis Noel, 48, allegedly had about 2 ounces of fentanyl, with smaller quantities of cocaine, and methamphetamine.

Officers additionally allegedly discovered a rifle, shotgun and a semi-automatic pistol inside the house, together with an extra 7 grams of fentanyl in the lounge with the 2-year-old youngster.

Noel was arrested on suspicion of possession of fentanyl/cocaine on the market, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a managed substance whereas armed with a loaded firearm, concealing medicine in a false compartment, working a drug home, being a prohibited particular person in possession of firearms and ammunition, and youngster endangerment with possible nice bodily harm.

Noel was nonetheless in custody Friday in lieu of $250,000 bail.

The second search warrant was served throughout a site visitors cease in Santa Rosa and a homeless encampment within the 2000 block of Montgomery Drive in Santa Rosa.

Detectives contacted 54-year-old Capricia Moore and allegedly discovered about an oz of fentanyl and 4 ounces of methamphetamine in her possession.

Moore was arrested on suspicion of possession and transportation of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

Officers serving the warrant on the encampment contacted 40-year-old Jacob Williams. Detectives allegedly noticed Williams throwing away a bag containing fentanyl. Williams was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics with two prior drug convictions and an excellent arrest warrant.

The suspects have been booked into the Sheriff’s Predominant Grownup Detention Facility.
