A fireplace broke out in a San Jose house early Saturday, displacing seven residents and killing a cat, in line with officers.
The hearth was reported at 5:12 a.m. at a two-story, single-family house on the 600 block of Woodland Terrace, situated close to the Naglee Park neighborhood and Interstate 280.
Firefighters had been in a position to extinguish the flames by 5:42 a.m., in line with an X publish from the San Jose Hearth Division. No residents or firefighters had been injured.
A number of crews responded to the incident, with six hearth engines despatched to the scene.
