East Bay prosecutors cost two ladies with grand theft

OAKLAND – Two ladies are dealing with felony prices for allegedly stealing clothes and jewellery from a Hayward division retailer final week, in response to prosecutors.

If convicted, the ladies may rise up to 3 years in state jail, in response to prosecutors.

The alleged theft occurred Jan. 11 on the Southland Mall JCPenney. The district legal professional’s workplace stated the ladies took greater than $950 value of clothes and jewellery from the shop with out paying, however had been detained by loss prevention officers.

In line with prosecutors, the way in which the crime was carried out “indicates planning, sophistication or professionalism.”

The ladies are scheduled to return to superior courtroom for a plea listening to on Feb. 18.
