SAN MATEO — A Kentucky man was arrested on suspicion of assault with a lethal weapon after he repeatedly rammed into one other automobile within the early hours of Sunday as a result of he was upset the opposite driver turned on his high-beam lights, in accordance with a press launch from the San Mateo Police Division.

Round 3:49 a.m., San Mateo law enforcement officials responded to reviews of a hit-and-run collision within the space of Pacific Boulevard and Laurie Meadows Drive. In the meantime, officers from the Belmont Police Division engaged in a brief automobile pursuit of the potential suspect, authorities stated. The suspect yielded to officers on forty third Avenue in San Mateo.

The suspect, 62, instructed officers that he had been driving northbound on Pacific Boulevard when somebody driving southbound handed him with their excessive beam lights on, authorities stated. The lights upset the suspect due to the “brightness and potential radiation,” officers added.

The suspect determined to ram into the automobile, then ram into it once more when the automobile stopped, officers added. He then fled the scene. He evaded the Belmont Police Division officers as a result of he believed individuals with nefarious intentions typically impersonate police, he instructed authorities.

The sufferer instructed officers that he believed he had been rammed by the suspect 3 times.

The suspect was arrested and booked into San Mateo County Jail on suspicion of assault with a lethal weapon.
