New metropolis web site

The town of Cupertino soft-launched its new web site in December with a caveat.

New face for open area

Kathy Sutherland was sworn in on Dec. 12 because the Santa Clara Valley Open House Authority’s District 4 consultant. District 4 consists of Campbell and a portion of Cupertino. Sutherland has been a member of the authority’s Residents’ Advisory Committee for the previous 11 years.

First Friday Hen Buddies

In honor of Nationwide Trivia Day, the Santa Clara Valley Open House Authority is internet hosting a digital program and trivia about native birds on Friday, Jan. 3, noon-12:45 p.m. Register at Eventbrite.com for this lunchtime occasion.
