Prep roundup: Campolindo volleyball advances to NCS quarterfinals with win over Berkeley

Campolindo 3, Berkeley 0

Three hitters reached double-digit kills as Campolindo cruised to a 25-9, 25-15, 25-15 win over Berkeley. 

Senior Aveya Stone had 14 kills, junior Mia Walloch totaled 12, and freshman Hanna Raczynska recorded 10 in a dominant offensive show led by freshman setter Amelia Knutsen. 

Campolindo will host Amador Valley within the quarterfinals on Saturday. 

Milpitas 3, Lynbrook 0

Milpitas gained its closing sport of the common season, sweeping Lynbrook 25-17, 25-23, 25-11. 

Junior Sara Svihovec led the Trojans with 18 kills, two serving aces and 14 digs. Kylie Dang and Natasha Lacuzong every had 11 kills for Milpitas, which ended its common season profitable its closing 5 matches. 

Castilleja 3, Pinewood 0

Senior Araika Ramchandran confirmed out in her closing common season residence sport of her profession, totaling 12 kills, three serving aces and 13 digs to steer the Gators to a 25-22, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of Pinewood.

Priscilla Chan and Camryn Nuckles every had eight kills. Castilleja completed the common season 11-10, 8-4.

Menlo College 12, Archbishop Mitty 9

Menlo superior to the second spherical of the West Catholic Athletic League playoffs with an in depth win over Mitty at residence. 

Hunter Coleman led Menlo with 4 targets and 4 steals. Jackson Coleman added three targets and Alex Stoffel dished out three assists. 

Menlo will play at top-seeded Sacred Coronary heart Prep on Thursday.

School Park 16, California 11

The Falcons cruised to a five-goal victory over a troublesome California crew behind eight targets from junior Nic Austen. Senior Mikhail Popov added 4 targets for School Park, which bounced again after back-to-back losses to Redwood and Campolindo. 

Julian Vasconcellos led California with 4 targets because the Grizzlies dropped to 11-11, 5-4.

Sacred Coronary heart Prep 18, St. Ignatius 7

Ryleigh Longaker threw for 138 yards and three touchdowns as SHP gained an in depth sport at St. Ignatius. 

Cate Hansen, Ellie Shen and Bella Gonzalez every caught a landing rating because the Gators improved to 13-5, 7-3. St. Ignatius dropped to 2-10, 0-7. 

Archbishop Riordan 54, The King’s Academy 35

There was no scarcity of offense on this sport as Riordan put up 54 factors to defeat King’s Academy. 

Riordan quarterback Nicole Hayeem was 29 for 35 and had seven passing touchdowns and a speeding rating. 

Kaylin Bowman and Lola Guandique every caught two landing passes whereas Hana Wadlow racked up 9 catches and a rating. Sara Noguera and Josie Espinoza-Schleicher led the Crusaders’ protection with two interceptions every. 

Riordan ended its season 17-2 and was undefeated in 10 West Bay Athletic League video games. 

San Ramon Valley 19, Monte Vista 0

SRV blanked Monte Vista as Gia Ryan threw for 3 touchdowns and the Wolves’ protection totaled 4 interceptions.
