CFB recruiting: Amador Valley quarterback Tristan Tia commits to Oregon State

One of many prime quarterbacks within the Bay Space is staying on the West Coast.

Amador Valley QB Tristan Tia has dedicated to Oregon State, he introduced on Monday.

“Beyond humbled and blessed to commit to the @BeaverFootball,” Tia mentioned on the social media platform X on Monday evening. 

In accordance with his X account, he took his official go to to Oregon State on Saturday and was provided a scholarship on the identical day. Tia selected Oregon State over gives from Appalachian State, Boston School, Colorado State and Montana. 

Via seven video games this season, Tia has thrown for 1,960 yards and 19 touchdowns whereas finishing 79.6% of his passes. He has additionally rushed for 494 yards and 9 touchdowns.

Tia comes from a household of athletes as his brother, Malini, is a security at Sacramento State and his sister, Nayeli, is an out of doors hitter for San Jose State’s volleyball crew.

Amador Valley is 5-2 and is scheduled to play its first league recreation towards San Ramon Valley on Friday.
