Two different reasonsto say no to Prop. 5
Re: “Reject Prop. 5 move to ease bond approval” (Web page A8, Sept. 15).
Thanks on your considerate, history- and fact-based editorial opposing Proposition 5 (which would scale back the voter threshold for passing borrow-and-tax bond measures for all California native governments from two-thirds to 55%).
The next macroeconomic components present extra causes to vote No on Proposition 5:
1. Cumulatively, the growing variety of huge bonds that each one of our federal, state and native governments are utilizing is considerably pushing up rates of interest for all of us, stopping many Californians from shopping for their first dwelling.
2. Roughly half of the property taxes licensed by these measures will go to pay for curiosity to the lenders, not for the precise development prices.

This election, let’sturn the web page on Trump
Why do folks stay loyal to Donald Trump regardless of his incoherent rants and lies? It’s easy, they hate no matter he hates: immigrants, authorities laws, ladies’s rights, gun restraints, the educated citizens, civil liberties, local weather management laws, libraries, LBGTQ, the Inexpensive Care Act, NATO, the justice system, the media, and anybody who challenges him. He provides folks the best to be offended, profane, and violent. And, then, after all, there are the uber wealthy who search for extra revenue and energy.
So, we will flip the web page on the vitriol of the Trump period by rejecting him not by a slim margin, however by a landslide.
