3 Peninsula man arrested for stealing 90 pairs of glasses

Novato police arrested 4 suspects within the theft of about $33,000 price of eyewear merchandise, together with 90 pairs of glasses.

The theft occurred at about 3 p.m. Friday on the LensCrafters retailer on the Classic Oaks Purchasing Heart. Witnesses mentioned the thieves fled in a Dodge Charger with out license plates. A California Freeway Patrol officer stopped the automobile on southbound Freeway 101 in Terra Linda.

Investigators decided that three males and a 17-year-old boy have been the thieves. Additionally they discovered the allegedly stolen merchandise within the automobile, police mentioned.

A 1-year-old little one within the automobile was launched to a grandparent.

Daly Metropolis residents Cuauhtémoc Cristo Ramirez, 21, and Steven Cordova Hernandez, 21, have been booked into the Marin County Jail on suspicion of organized retail theft, conspiracy and grand theft. Cristo Ramirez is being held and not using a bail quantity due to an alleged parole violation. Cordova Hernandez’s bail was set at $25,000.

Armani Del Rosario, 23, of Pacifica was arrested on suspicion of kid endangerment, organized retail theft, grand theft and conspiracy. He was launched from jail after posting a $50,000 bond, sheriff’s Lt. Brennan Collins mentioned. Del Rosario couldn’t be reached for remark.

The 17-year-old suspect was booked into juvenile corridor.
