Authorities launch video of Oakland museum housebreaking suspects

OAKLAND – Authorities on Monday launched surveillance video and descriptions of two folks needed in reference to the theft of greater than 1,000 objects from an Oakland Museum of California storage website in mid-October.

One suspect is described as a male with a skinny construct and was final seen sporting a black beanie, white face masks, plaid long-sleeved shirt, blue denims and black footwear, in line with the Oakland Police Division.

The opposite suspect has a heavy construct and was final seen sporting a blue hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the chest, blue pants, white footwear with black detailing, and black gloves, police mentioned.

The theft occurred simply earlier than 3:30 a.m. on Oct. 15.

The theft was against the law of alternative and never a focused heist, in line with museum officers. The stolen artifacts are valued at greater than $100,000 and embrace historic memorabilia akin to political pins, conscious ribbons and memento tokens.
