A 22-year-old Cal State Lengthy Seaside scholar died after one in all his roommates stabbed him over the weekend, officers stated Thursday, Oct. 9.

“We are profoundly saddened by the loss of our student, Spencer Timms,” stated Jeffrey Prepare dinner, a college spokesperson. “We have been in touch with Spencer’s family, and have been reaching out to and supporting his Beach classmates and faculty.”

Officers responded round 10:40 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4 to the 1300 block of Temple Avenue, the place they discovered the 2 victims. Timms was pronounced lifeless on the scene.

Police arrested Alejandro Iniestra, 34, on suspicion of homicide and tried homicide. His bail was set at $2 million.

Police didn’t launch a motive for the stabbing. College officers and police didn’t specify if some other college students have been concerned within the stabbing.
