SAN JOSE – With coaching camp beginning later this week, the San Jose Sharks have signed free agent ahead Oliver Wahlstrom to an expert tryout settlement, a supply confirmed.
Wahlstrom, 25, has 73 factors in 236 profession NHL regular-season video games, having spent 5 years with the New York Islanders earlier than splitting time final season between the Boston Bruins and their AHL affiliate in Windfall.
The Bruins claimed Wahlstrom off waivers on Dec. 14, then waived him in late February and assigned him to the AHL, the place he remained the remainder of the common season and playoffs.
Wahlstrom was not tendered a qualifying provide by the Bruins in June and have become an unrestricted free agent. He had two factors in 16 NHL video games with the Bruins final season and 15 factors in 19 video games within the AHL.
